With more than 15 years at MMIC, and more than 40 years in health care overall, Jan has the kind of perspective and insights that make her invaluable to her clients. She helps identify pertinent clinical tools and educational opportunities that can help clients provide safer patient care and mitigate their professional liability risk.

If a process needs changing, evaluating, or leading, Jan is the consultant to call. She specializes in process, and is not afraid to jump in, analyze the situation, and work to change a process that simply no longer works. As a young nurse, Jan had the opportunity to participate on several projects at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, and learned early on in her career how perfecting processes can impact the experience of care and drive down costs. More than anything, Jan finds satisfaction in building strong relationships with clients and helping them get the resources they need. Away from the job, she enjoys time with grandkids—at the apple orchard, traveling to museums, or going to plays.
