Closing the Loop on Diagnostic Error: One Hospital’s Success
An analysis of Constellation malpractice claims reveals that diagnostic errors are frequent, costly and preventable. Over half of the analyzed cases involved follow-up system failures, which shows that accurate and timely diagnosis depends nearly as much on the health care team and systems as it does on the diagnosticians themselves. Join us to learn how our collaboration with industry experts helped a critical access hospital improve diagnostic processes in their organization.
This webinar will provide you with the knowledge to:
- Recognize that diagnostic errors are a frequent, costly and preventable cause of patient and senior living resident harm.
- Learn about how a hospital assessed their diagnostic processes and are working to close the loop around diagnostic testing in their emergency department and perioperative setting.
- Access resources and tools to improve diagnosis in clinics, hospitals and health systems.
